IIRC, this officer was offered back to the Russians for a trade of prisoners. russia refused. The rebels then kill this guy.

Prior to 1995, the Chechnyans were basically fighting for their own country. After 1995, Muslims like Khattab came in and declared it a jihad. Most of the chechnyans were muslim in name only, and some are actually russian.

When it was declared a jihad, the widescale ruthlessness began. There are many other videos like this out there, used to ship back to rich Saudis who fund the jihad.

The chechen people themselves are hardcore, and the "chechen mafia" is feared all over the world. They will execute an entire family for revenge. They have no qualms about torture, either.

Russia wants the oil in chechnya ... there is a pipeline running right through the country that could earn the russians billions of dollars. Otherwise, chechnya would just be a wasteland. BTW, these russian soldiers often commit these same atrocities against the chechens. The soldiers are not properly drained, perpetually drunk, and have no problem killing children or raping women. the worst of russia's soldiers are battalions of hardcore criminals that are sent to chechnya to "fight". Even the other russian soldiers ...and the chechen mafia ...stay away from these guys. They will kill for fun ...they just don't videotape it.

I've been to Chechnya (1998) and can tell you that there is no place anywhere more dangerous than chechnya.

俄国人要车臣的石油， 其国家地下有输油管可以是俄国的上千万美元。要不， 车臣其实就是块不毛之地。

实际上， 俄国人也同样这样杀害车臣人。军队毫无约束， 他们经常喝醉酒，随意的杀害和强奸车臣人

最恐怖的是俄国还专门组织了一些以杀人犯， 强奸犯等恶性罪犯为士兵的独特军队用来对付车臣人。甚至连俄国一般士兵和车臣黑社会都不敢靠近他们。 他们杀人的手段远远超过录像中的车臣人， 只不过他们不拍摄而以。
